Nuremberg zoo

Spend a wonderful and eventful day in one of the most beautiful landscape zoos in Europe on 67 hectares with a dolphinarium and aqua park. In addition to around 2,700 animals and 270 animal species, you can also explore the idyllic natural pond landscapes and old trees.

The Ice Tigers

Any hockey fans here? The Nuremberg Ice Tigers are a professional ice hockey club! The roots of the team can be traced back to SG Nürnberg. The ice hockey club was closed in 1980 due to financial issues. Today’s team was founded in 1980 as EHC Nürnberg 1980 e.V., as a non-profit organization. Play started in 1980–81 in the Bavarian ice hockey legue and after two seasons, the team moved up to the German Ice Hockey league!

The Germanisches Nationalmuseum

Immerse yourself in the past: The Germanisches Nationalmuseum is the largest cultural history museum in the German-speaking region and always offers something exciting for little museum explorers. It houses around 1.3 million objects, 25,000 of which are presented to the public. In addition to children’s tours or children’s painting lessons, special activities also take place on selected days. In this way, the little ones can discover the secrets of history in a playful way and with riddles.
