Top 5 things to do in London this February half term

There are plenty of fun-filled family activities to do in London this February half term. From visiting the animals over at London Zoo to completing challenges at the new lifesize game of Monopoly, these recommendations will allow you to enjoy some much needed family time in the city. 

Imagine Children’s Festival 

The largest festival of its kind in the UK, Imagine Children’s Festival is where you will find the very best children’s theatre, comedy, music, literature, dance and overall fun for the whole family. 160 events are scheduled across 12 days and over 50% of the festival is completely free.

Imagine Children’s Festival will take place from 9th-20th February at The Southbank Centre.

ArcelorMittal Orbit and slide

Located in Queen Elizabeth Park, also known as the Olympic Park, ArcelorMittal Orbit  allows you take in beautiful city views of up to 20 miles and also features an orbit slide for thrill-seekers. Named the world’s tallest and longest tunnel slide, this experience is suitable for children aged 8 and over to enjoy. An adult must accompany children aged under 14.

ZSL London Zoo

With over 720 animals and exciting new exhibits, ZSL London Zoo is a great day out for the family. This February half term, the zoo is inviting children to become zoo vets at Vets in Action, an award winning role-playing experience for budding veterinarians. Kids can step into the role during a fun week of interactive family events from 12th-20th February.

Monopoly Lifesized Junior 

A real life, full-sized version of the famous board game Monopoly has arrived to London. Monopoly Lifesized has four exciting boards to choose from including a junior board where you can complete family-friendly challenge rooms, build houses, charge rent, escape jail and control London’s waterworks.

Monopoly Lifesized Junior is designed for groups with children aged 5-8. At least one adult must be present for every five children.
