Where to stay

Make concert-going effortless with a stay at a city-centre Amsterdam hotel. If you’re searching for hotels near Ziggo Dome or an Amsterdam ArenA hotel, Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam, Park Plaza Vondelpark, and Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport all have easy public transport routes to the venues plus contemporary rooms, great restaurants, and friendly teams.

Transport from hotels to concerts

It’s easy to get to and from the venues and Amsterdam city centre. Johan Cruijff ArenA, Ziggo Dome, and AFAS Live sit side-by-side and are all a short walk from the station Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA.

On major show nights, GVB and NS typically run extra metros and longer trains serving Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA to help clear post‑show queues.

From Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam (by Amsterdam Centraal)

  • Take the metro: Walk to Amsterdam Centraal, then take Metro 54 towards Gein to Bijlmer ArenA. Typical ride time is about 16–18 minutes.
  • Train alternative: From Amsterdam Centraal, take an NS Sprinter or Intercity directly to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA. Trains run frequently and take roughly 11–19 minutes.

From Park Plaza Vondelpark (by Valeriusplein)

  • Tram + metro: Take Tram 2 towards Nieuw Sloten and change at Heemstedestraat for Metro 50 towards Gein to Bijlmer ArenA.
  • Alternative via Centraal: Ride Tram 2 to Centraal Station, then Metro 54 towards Gein to Bijlmer ArenA.

Typical ride time is between 45 minutes to an hour.

From Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport (by Lijnden)

  • Shuttle + train: Take the hotel shuttle to Schiphol Airport (every 30 minutes), then a direct NS Intercity or Sprinter to Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA. Allow around 30–40 minutes door to door, with the rail leg typically 13–19 minutes.
  • One‑bus option: From Badhoevedorp, Badhoevedorp West, take bus 356 to Station Bijlmer ArenA in about 26–30 minutes. A short taxi or walk gets you to Badhoevedorp West from the hotel.
  • Bus via Schiphol Noord: Walk 6 minutes to Lijnden, Melbournestraat, take bus 194 towards Schiphol Knooppunt Noord, then the 300 to Station Bijlmer ArenA. The 300 runs every 6–10 minutes, and the Knooppunt Noord ↔ Bijlmer ArenA segment is about 21 minutes.
